A handful of kilometers from the Sicilian capital, in the enchanting landscape of the marinas of Santa Flavia and Porticello, between sea, sand and hills, I Piscaturi Cuore Marittimo restaurant, in the province of Palermo, has been open for more than half a century to dispense fresh delicacies of the sea to all its patrons. The long culinary experience and the knowledge of these seas with the rich variety of fish allow I Piscaturi to bring to the table the authentic dishes of Mediterranean cuisine.
Freshness and genuineness of the fish are recognized by gourmets who savor the antipasti such as sardas and beccafico, marinated shrimps and appreciate the roundness of the anchovy balls. Among the first courses, the linguine with the grouper sauce or the home made pasta alla San Calogero: a recipe that features swordfish accompanied by the unmistakable aubergine and scented with wild fennel.
