The ancient tonnara of Solanto

At that time the Palermitan nobility, who resided during the summer in the luxurious villas of Santa Flavia and Bagheria, preferred it as a meeting place during the stages of rising and matting. Today the tonnara offers the possibility of being a prestigious location for unique receptions.
The tonnara consists of a single environment with double royal vaults and was built in blocks of sandstone giving the place a warm and suggestive golden effect. The construction dates back to the late seventeenth century.
